About a month ago we did a one day trip to Yosemite with some friends of ours. We had a fabulous time!! We parked our car and trekked around the park on foot, walking about 10 miles we guess. No better way to see the valley in my opinion. This was Miss T's second time to the park in her less than one year of life. Yosemite holds many very special memories to me and I hope that it will do the same for her.

We are enjoying the cool mist at the bottom of the falls. It was exhilarating and freezing all at once!
On our way out we stopped at a vista point to snap a couple pics. I loved this one...It just made me think of the awe John Muir most of been in as he rounded the corner and saw this. Beautiful.
Here is our bear. Yes our bear. We were walking down the trail on our way to Yosemite Falls when we ran into this bear on his way down to the Valley. We were speechless for a second then started yelling at it to make it go away. I don't think it was interested in us at all. None the less I was FREAKED OUT. I gotta remember to get some bear spray.
