Welcome to our Bog!

I became inspired tonight to start a blog. One of my oldest friend sent me a link to hers and poof! I just had to start our own.

The story of us...

Matt and I have been married since September 22 of 2007. Our wedding was wonderful and beautiful...I don't think I'd change a thing. Well except the DJ not really being able to play music half of the time..but I don't think our guests noticed.

We knew we wanted to try for children right away. Then kablammie! Four months later, we discovered we were pregnant! I had been feeling off that day. I was at work with a terrible headache. I just knew something was not right. I went home, rushed right in and took a pregnancy test. Low and behold it came back positive right away. A smile instantly spread across my face and I ran outside with my dog Mia in tow to tell the father to be. He was, where else in the garage working on his car. I sat on his lap and told him "I'm pregnant!". I know what a clever way to let him know. The excitement got the best of me and I couldn't hold back. I think it took a while for it to sink in...but we were both so utterly happy, and shocked.

That brings us to now. I am now entering my 14th week. I have been very lucky. No real morning sickness. A few fleeting moments of slight nausea. I was extremely tired. That was my worst symptom. Now that is passing for the most part.

We got an ultrasound done last week at UCSF to test for downs syndrome. My Mom went with me. It was amazing to see our little one moving around inside me. I had to chug a lot of water and have the ultrasound technician push her probe down on my tummy the entire time. Not exactly the most comfortable thing...but I didn't mind too much. It looks like a baby now, and less like a lizard or "peanut" as we dubbed it for a while. We got some amazing ultrasound photos to take home which I've been proudly show off to everyone!

My tummy is growing much to my pleasure. I can't wait to sport a big pregnancy tummy. I look forward to all of the little milestones. This entire process is amazing to me. I can't stop thinking of what is taking place in my body.

That's it for my very first entry in the Creedon Family Blog. I am glad you stopped by! I hope to have some pictures up soon so come on back now ya'hear!

Goodnight all...
